There are many beginner snowboarding resorts that make learning fun and relaxing. As a novice snowboarder, you may take advantage of professional tuition packages that are offered by tour operators. You can even choose from a starter package or even intermediate slopes, depending on how confident you feel. Here are some of the best places to learn snowboarding:
Val d'Isere
This snowboarding resort in France has heaps of space, which would actually take around a week to run all the trails. You can easily practice your skills for free at this resort, without needing any expert instructions. There is a nearby park with 150 metre half pipe, jumps, and rails.

Serre Chevalier
Free riding can also be enjoyed in this huge valley resort. Serre Chevalier in France is like a massive snow park with easy bowls and terrains. Most of the runs are along the valley, making this resort an ideal choice for beginner snowboarders.

Selva Val Gardena in Italy
This region provides good access to the backdrop of Dolomites. There are 3 resorts to choose from. Selva is one of the most popular ones as it’s highly preferred by skiers and snowboarders. The snow park has an 80 metre high pipe and is situated by Seleda Plateau.

Snow park Freestylers in St. Moritz
While St. Moritz may seem an unlikely place to learn snowboarding, it has a 90 metre half pipe with many different jumps that are ideal for beginners. Once you pay a visit to this glamorous place, you will understand why so many people come here to practice. The parks are well-maintained, and they also facilitate for intermediate boarders.

The Poconos
If you wish to travel further than Europe to learn how to snowboard, you should discuss your ski insurance needs with your trip organiser. The Poconos in Pennsylvania allows beginners to choose from 7 areas for snowboarding lessons. There is a terrain park that offers tuition for ages 15 and up. Camelback is one of the biggest winter resorts in the Poconos with a huge terrain park and 34 trails. Novice boarders can take group or private lessons. There is also a kids’ learning centre for ages of 5 to 12.

Philadelphia Region
Whilst you are in USA, you may as well pay a visit to Philadelphia. It has a family-friendly resort that offers tuition to both kids and adults. There are 3 beginner trails and a terrain park in this area. In addition to these lessons, there is a ski hotel where visitors can spend a few days practicing their new skills. Don’t forget to check out Blue Mountain, just 75 miles away from Philadelphia. This state has the most number of trails including 16 for beginners and 5 terrain parks.

If you are willing to focus and follow the required training, and you are dedicated enough to learn new tricks and skills, within a short time you will get the hang of snowboarding. Make sure you spend a little time in choosing the most ideal resort and book your trip in advance.
