This annual photography competition brings together a fantastic collection of amateur and professional work, exploring the vast and wondrous universe beyond our planet. The exhibition is split into four categories: Our Solar System, Deep Space, Earth and Space and Young Astronomy Photographer of the Year.

For one weekend, London will throw open the doors to some of its biggest and most renowned venues to allow the public to explore. A massive 830 different properties are participating in the event, including the Battersea Power Station, Brixton Windmill and the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir.

Producing 80kg from its ten beehives last year, it seems only appropriate for the Lancaster London to play host to this year’s London Honey Show. Hives will be on display along with talks on beekeeping, demonstrations and an award ceremony to crown London’s Beekeeper of the Year.

An incredible three mile-long procession will work its way from Mansion House to the historic settings of the Royal Courts of Justice. Dating back to 1215, this traditional celebration will boast marching bands and floats, along with a huge crowd of spectators, before concluding with a stunning firework display between Waterloo and Blackfriars bridges.
Doctor Who Official 50th Celebration

ExCeL Centre
Celebrate a great British classic, as Doctor Who reaches its 50th year on the small screen. The three-day long event will welcome fans of the time-travelling series to witness explosions, live stunts and monsters in the ExCeL centre. The current cast and crew, including newly retired Doctor Matt Smith, will also be answering questions on the ‘Eleventh Hour’ panel.
