Reviewing the ‘unsinkable’ sunglasses by Reflekt

If you’re like me, you have a problem when it comes to making sunglasses last more than a season. They either get crushed or lost, left somewhere and never seen again, or they simply like to disappear completely. I’ve gotten so used to buying a new pair of shades at the beginning of the summer, that it becomes something I dread – and what’s worse is that more times than not, over the past few years, I’ve had to go through this charade again two or three more times between May and September. It’s awful. It’s kind of a problem, and I don’t like to talk about it.
The cool thing is that I might have found the solution. My friends over at Reflekt eyewear have set out to solve a lot of the major issues people have with their sunglasses. For starters, they identified the most common ways people lose their glasses and came up with a design and material that combats that. And yet, they didn’t stop there. They decided to offer a lifetime (+loss) warranty. So, if you simply lose them one time, they will replace them for you.

Probably the most defining characteristic of the Reflekt line is that they are ‘unsinkable.’ I’ve not had the chance to fully test this, but by golly, they sure are neat. I’m not the biggest water nut, but if you enjoy boating and water sports, these might be right up your alley. Because not only are they ‘unsinkable,’ but they come polarized.

I had the chance to try out the ECHO unsinkable line. They are very lightweight, and cool looking, while maintaining a certain strength that you would want in any pair of reliable sunglasses. Reflekt produces solid eyewear and cures a lot of the issues that befall the many clumsy and forgetful of our race. My only critique is that if you have a wider head than average, and apparently I do, then you may wish to try out a few different fits before you settle on a particular model/style.

Oh! These are perfect for me. I'm blessed enough to live on a little lake in MN and my family spend summers there. Thanks for sharing
