Anaheim, California, is home to the Disneyland theme park, making it a popular tourist attraction. But Disneyland is one of many sights worth visiting in beautiful Anaheim.
Oak Canyon Nature Center
This 58-acre park sits in the Anaheim Hills and provides year-round beauty to both locals and tourists. There are three canyons, over 4 miles of hiking trails, and plenty of native wildlife throughout the nature center. There is also an indoor nature museum that features live animals and natural history educational lessons.

The nature center also hosts a few interactive events throughout the year that are worth stopping by for. Nature Nights host local nature experts that educate the community about the Anaheim outdoors. The Tiny Tot Academy is an educational child-friendly experience that offers entertaining hands-on nature activities.

The Old Moreton Bay Fig Tree
The Old Moreton Bay Fig Tree is a celebration of Anaheim's history. It was planted on April 13, 2007, to commemorate the 132-year-old tree. The tree is said to be the first tree in Anaheim, California. A few families planted a couple of Moreton Bay Fig trees around town in 1868.

One of the trees at the Dwyer Ranch held on despite suffering the freezing temperatures of 1876-1877. Once the frost season was over, the tree grew larger and sprouted additional shoots. One of those shoots is the same tree that now sits at the Old Home Place, and it remains one of the largest rubber trees in all of Anaheim.

Art on the Walk at the Anaheim Garden Walk
Art on the Walk is an ongoing attraction that is filled with art exhibits and attractions. It features some of the best local artists and some of the best sights in Anaheim. The boardwalk is a sight to see with numerous colorful canvases, unique sculptures, and even art-inspired cuisine. The event is free and is always open to the public. Any donations go back to the art community to continue inspiring local artists.

Anaheim Coves
If you want to get away from the populated tourist areas of Anaheim, the Anaheim Coves is the perfect place. The Coves sit along the Santa Ana River and offer over 14 acres of nature parks. There are few buildings and a couple of stop-off observation areas along the route that let you appreciate the true beauty of Anaheim, without all of the usual hustle and bustle.

The trail is easily accessible and is perfect for hikers of all levels. You will find informative notes along the route, which tell you about the different parts of the trail. The park is open daily from dawn until dusk. Make sure you book your Anaheim hotel with Hotel Planner so you are close to the most beautiful sights of the city.

Anaheim is a beautiful city that is worth exploring. If theme parks are not your thing or you just need a relaxing break from the crowded parks, any of these sights are a great choice.
