Without you, my lovely readers and precious supporters – more like my friends – I would not be able to do what I love or be able to travel the world as I do… And I wanted to take the time to let you know how I appreciate you so!
I realize that I am more than simply a writer, or a photographer, I am an experience translator. I am wandering around the world, experiencing all that the world has to offer, from the people and the foods, to the history and the cultures. I’ve been down this path for sometime now, and I believe that I’ve realized my calling – which is to relay what I see, what I do, and what I feel…
So that, perhaps I can offer a new direction for those who feel as though they’re living day by day in a life unlived, and so there may be a new chance for a rejuvenated life. Suppose the last statement speaks to you – with the possibility of a renewed and inspired hope, you may have found a new path that you didn’t know was possible before. So now, you can follow your dreams and be able to find your calling as well, whether that’s traveling, or via traveling, to where you find your path along the journey itself.
With the possibility of inspiring others being clear in mind, each and everyday, I am met with a renewed drive to continue on, no matter how difficult things may be. Running a travel website like Eye & Pen isn’t an easy path to choose, nor is it a project that requires little time investment – most days I am stuck in front of a computer for six to twelve hours, writing, updating, designing, and networking – but I can say that the journey so far, for me, has been a magical one. I have been able to interact and help people from all over the world, I’ve continued to grow personally and spiritually, and my work has been enjoyed by 191 countries worldwide.
For the foreseeable future, I am happy where I am, and I will strive everyday to continue to challenge you, to inspire you, to empower you, and if all else fails, at least I can entertain you with my travel stories and imagery.
