Welcome to paradise! You want beaches you have come to the right place. A lot of time and resources have been invested to convert Tenerife’s rocky coastline into a sun-seekers dream.  The importing find gold sands from Sahara and building of stunning resorts, the beaches of Tenerife offer spectacular ocean views with high elevations that create the picture perfect opportunities.
Beaches
Playa Las Vistas
Explore the ocean and encounter the Whales, Dolphins, beautiful colored fish along with many other types of marine life. Between the tourist centers of Los Cristianos and Las Americas, Playa Las Vistas is a very extensive beach, and has become the most popular beach in the south of the islands.

El Medano
El Medano is another famous beach that shouldn’t be skipped. Located on the south east coast of the island, these sands are a gem. Wandering along the sea-front will offer man views of beautiful sail boats with colorful sails that make for captivating photos and never-ending sights. Medano is one of the most beautiful natural beaches on the island, also well-endowed with a variety of water sports.

Playa del Duque
Playa del Duque is a premium beach that is located in Southern Tenerife. This beach is made for beach lovers! High-quality, exlcusive resorts surround the area, and is known as a top destination for its cleanliness, high standards, and outstanding facilities. Holdiaymakers, and those who enjoy a calm, classy environment will have a blast exploring this little piece of Heaven on Earth.

Activities
Santa Cruz Carnival
The island offers other attractions to visit when trekking to one of Europe’s favorite holiday travel destinations. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is an annual carnival held in the capital of the island attracts millions of visitors each year. It is considered to be the second, most popular carnival in the world. Flamboyant outfits, audience interactive parades, and late-night street parties draw in a good crowd.

Dragon Tree
Dragon Tree in Icod de los Vinos is the next travel spot on the map when visiting Tenerife. Legends say that when a dragon dies they become what many know as a dragon tree. This tree of life is one of the main living fossils of the island and perhaps the greatest treasure of Canarian flora. When you look at its peculiar shape it is not surprising that the tree was considered a divine tree by the early inhabitants of the island. There has been much debate over the age of the tree, and some say it may be over 5000 years old. However, recent estimates suggest that the tree is no more than 800 to 1000 years old.

Suggesting that you visit the islands of Tenerife would be an understatement. The islands have a very deep yet vibrant history with many fables and myths to keep any traveler engaged, and eager to learn more! One of the most intriguing tales is the Legend of Atlantis. It claims that Tenerife remains one of the last visible points of the lost city of Atlantis, the rest can never be revealed because they are on the ocean floor, deep below the sea.
