As I grow older, my mind expands and my understanding evolves. When I was in my late teens and early 20s, I ate whatever I wanted, drank more than I probably should have, and I didn’t care what would happen. I felt invincible. My, oh my, how time changes things. As time went on, I began to grow suspicious of the food I often ate, realizing that processed foods are indeed bad for me, and with research I came to understand that whole organic foods are the right way to go. Next, my understanding grew to understand the medical field and how pharmaceuticals were doing more damage than good. And then…

When you’re a tech traveler like me, your business, your travels and your life flows up and down with how reliable your technology is. Having dependable gear and quality makes all the difference between traveling and living well versus stranded and losing business. I roamed the planet for many years as a tech traveler, where I lived out of the rucksack on my back and paid to move from place to place by working on a laptop. I also shot with a camera and powered everything when I was away from easy access to electricity with an external battery.

I Rare Buy Souvenirs When Abroad, But When I Do, I Buy Wool: featuring Swans Island

Through my travels around the world, I’ve spent a good bit of time wandering lands rich in wild sheep, known for their luxurious wools. From Iceland to Scotland and Ireland, and Spain, and Maine, there are regions known specifically for their top quality wools like Merino and Cashmere. I’ve always traveled like a backpacker, living out of the rucksack on my back and relying on nothing else. It kept me free, allowed me to roam, to drop my pack and simply frolic the fields of unspoiled beauty, without much to burden me or weigh me down.

Thailand is a backpacker’s paradise, and not just for the cheap food and friendly faces. One of the main reasons to book a trip to Thailand is for the stunning natural landscapes, or should we say waterscapes. Thailand is home to some of the most beautiful islands in the world, many of them frequented by tourists all year round.

Exploring a New Approach to Traditional Medicine: featuring ExtractCraft’s Source Turbo

For years, I’ve had growing concerns about what our food and modern medicines are doing to our bodies, because not only do most ready-made foods in the grocery make you fat, sick and overall unhealthy in many ways, our medicines are doing much of the same. For how a medicine is to help an intended illness, ailment or disease, many pharmaceuticals are proving to have much worse side effects than the originally intended ailment. I’d often hear myself saying, “What the hell?” So, I decided to delve deep into learning more…

The important things stopped being beautiful, or perhaps I stopped noticing. Everything started to frustrate me. My irritation level grew paramount and I could hardly stand the lines, the meaningless dribble, the typical small talk and the fake well wishes. I found myself circling the proverbial drain, losing myself down the rabbit hole of negativity. I began waking up beneath a dark cloud each morning, thinking to myself, ‘Is this it? Again?” Every day trivialities shook me, becoming a burden I carried which changed who I was and how I interacted with everyone.
