Now, if you’ve seen the perfectly endearing Planet Earth TV series, then you’ve gawked at this special cave in southern New Mexico. The cave is located 1,600 feet below the surface in Carlsbad Caverns National Park - 1,600 feet! That makes it America’s deepest cave - I can get down with that! Apparently, you’re so far down and there’s little to no water movement, the profound silence is louder than you would believe.

Imagine walking through the quietest, yet the loudest place on earth - a place that is more beautiful than your wildest dreams, an alien place - one word would describe this experience as magical. I’m positive that I would be a different person after visiting this place beneath the surface and I just hope that my path will eventually lead me right down to it.
