Goal: Take a dive in the Sua Ocean Trench
I’ve yet to witness crystal clear, natural blue waters - so for now, I’ll accept whatever comes my way first. Although if I have my way, the Sua Ocean Trench on the island of Upolu in Samoa is among my top choices.

I’ve yet to witness crystal clear, natural blue waters - so for now, I’ll accept whatever comes my way first. Although if I have my way, the Sua Ocean Trench on the island of Upolu in Samoa is among my top choices.
The Sua Ocean Trench has it all - beautiful clear water, a long ladder helping you in and out, a white sand beach on one side and a lava field with a blow hole on the other - and don’t forget about tide pools and walking paths along the rocks of the ocean’s edge. Samoa is only a teeny tiny trip of 709 miles east of Fiji and 2,585 miles south of Hawaii.
As much as I love the idea of vacationing and spending long periods of time in one place, doing absolutely nothing productive, the world traveler within me wouldn’t allow me to do so without guilt. But, of all the places in the world, I think this spot in Samoa would entertain me enough for at least a solid 4-5 days in vacation-style relaxation.
