CBD Personal Testimony: featuring the CBDistillery

For the past year, I’ve been dealing with chronic back pain, neck strains, headaches and anxiety, and while changes in my life, perspective, and state of mind are all obvious considerations, but I have also started experimenting with implementing CBD into my daily diet and routine. And the results have been better than I originally had expected. Let me explain…

For starters, for those who don’t know, CBD is an extracted compound from the Cannabis Sativa or hemp plant, also known as Cannabidiol. CBD is not the traditionally thought of psychoactive compound known as THC, so it does not have the effect on the mind but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t powerful in a therapeutic setting. While all health claims are based purely on personal experience, most people who try CBD find that it may help with calmness, anxiety, pain, sleep and appetite.

Additionally, CBD is the non-psychotropic and has been found to have inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects, as well as sedating, hypnotic, anti-epileptic and anti-dystonic effects, among other healing attributes. CBD does not ‘get you high,’ as they say, but it will relax you, soothe pain, help regulate sleep patterns, control certain cancers, stimulates bone growth, and stops the growth of bacteria, as well as it suppresses muscle spasms and convulsions, slows inflammation, reduces blood sugar levels, reduces the risk of artery obstructions, decreases pressure in the blood vessel walls, helps control epileptic seizures, reduces risk of nerve damage, and eases nausea.

I recently teamed up with The CBDistillery and they sent me their CBDol topical salve, as well as their Jack Herer Terpsolate and two of their CBD Vape Pen flavors: Lavender Vanilla and Tangie. The CBDol is a powerful topical salve that brings a booming 500mg of CBD in a tiny 1-ounce package. When you ingest CBD, you typically don’t need more than 25mg, at least for beginners, so hopefully that puts the power of this salve into perspective. It’s made with herbs, hempseed oil, olive oil, coconut oil, lavender, peppermint, wintergreen, marjoram, eucalyptus, arnica, basil, camphor, frankincense, tea tree, green tea, lecithin, cinnamon, grapefruit seed, aloe, glycerin, magnesium, and beeswax. Even without CBD, this salve would be powerful for a myriad of applications and ailments. CBDol salve is a fast acting, pain relieving topical ointment that helps me ease my tense muscles, painful joints, and eases my chronic issues I mentioned before. Not only is it good to use throughout the day, it helps with regulating my sleep by way of easing the pain and discomfort I experience daily.

Other ways that you can use CBD is via vaporizing. You can either use a terpsolate, which is 99% pure CBD with a small percentage of terpenes from the famous Jack Herer strain. This blending of terpenes provides a nice entourage effect, as well as a distinct, sweet scent that is absolutely mouth watering. To use a CBD isolate like this, which look like small crystal concentrates, you can use them in a vaporizer of your own, or by sprinkling a little bit onto smokable herb or tobacco. New, simpler ways are also available, such as The CBDistillery’s disposable vape pens, or pens that come in a vape cartridge that can be screwed onto a half-size pen-like battery stick. The flavors of these vapes comes through subtly, but are delicious and refreshing, and are best at introducing CBD into the body with a very quick response. All in all, I found The CBDistillery’s products to be among the finest of high quality CBD on the market, and is an obvious choice as an alternative to prescription meds, at least for me, and perhaps for many others in the world. Speak with your doctor if you have concerns prior to using CBD, or do your own research as I have. If you would prefer exact dosages, you can try capsules as well.
