CBD Review: 3,000mg Pure Full Spectrum Tincture by Pure Hemp Botanicals

CBD is the latest, hottest alternative medicine on the market, and yet, it’s always been available in one form or another. Used for centuries before the propaganda-driven republican war against drugs some decades back, CBD has now caught onto the mainstreams in many states of the USA, and is continuing to grow. Why? Not because it gets you ‘high,’ but because it’s so powerful as a medicine. Let me explain...
Picture
CBD is a molecule or compound found within cannabis, typically the stalks of the male non-flowering plant. You see, there’s CBD and then there’s THC, another compound, but there are massive differences. While CBD and THC together coalesce into one hell of a perfect medicine for humans, as it binds with out cannabinoid receptors beautifully, THC is quite different in its effect on the brain. CBD is non-psychoactive, yet THC is a psychotropic substance that does indeed get you high. But, CBD will not get you high, but it will assist in a myriad of healing* applications.

CBD is powerful when used in concentrate, either ingested orally, vaped, or when rubbed on the skin. CBD has been found to have inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects, as well as sedating, hypnotic, anti-epileptic and anti-dystonic effects, among other healing attributes. CBD does not ‘get you high,’ as they say, but it will relax you, soothe pain, help regulate sleep patterns, control certain cancers, stimulates bone growth, and stops the growth of bacteria, as well as it suppresses muscle spasms and convulsions, slows inflammation, reduces blood sugar levels, reduces the risk of artery obstructions, decreases pressure in the blood vessel walls, helps control epileptic seizures, reduces risk of nerve damage, and eases nausea.

Recently, I reached out to Pure Hemp Botanicals, because I wanted to try their ultra-potent 3,000mg Full Spectrum CBD Tincture. It’s a mixture of Organic Hemp Seed Oil and CBD Oil Concentrate, with low and legal amounts of other cannabinoids found only in cannabis, like THC (but not enough to have any effect on the mind), and CBN (another healing cannabinoid). There’s big differences in CBD oils and treatments, because some companies make a lesser quality product, or simply extract their oils from non-organically grown industrial hemp, which may have then been stripped of its other minerals and compounds. That’s why when you’re looking for a quality CBD product, you want to see the ‘Full Spectrum’ and ‘Organic’ tag listed, and if possible, look for Lab Results, too, for further assurances. When you have the other trace minerals included, you receive a better, more powerful and more well-rounded effect.

I worked with Pure Hemp Botanicals’ Full Spectrum tincture and found that it does indeed offer many of the powerful effects listed above. I like to ingest 20-40mg per day, depending how I feel. So, if I wake up achy, or with my back or neck pain flaring up, then I will do a bit more throughout the day. I don’t notice anything with my mind changing, but I do notice a calming, more like an anti-anxiety effect that helps me with my ability to manage stressful schedules. Besides helping me ease the everyday aches and pains, I found it most effective for when I go through insomnia. The taste isn’t bad either, a sort of earthy, grassy, floral taste; though, some other brand’s CBD oils can carry quite a detestable taste. But to each their own. All in all, I found that Pure Hemp Botanicals’ Full Spectrum CBD holds up very well among other leading brands.
