One of my key gear additions for glamping, and most camping trips is made by GCI Outdoor, who specializes in all sorts of camping gear, outdoor kitchens, chairs, and more. When you’re prepping food and cooking for a larger group of people, especially if you’re cooking over a single campfire, having a versatile workstation can make all the difference as to how smooth the cooking goes and how well the meal turns out. I’ve cooked meals for 6 with a log and the ground being my workstation. It works, but it’s not easy, nor is it possible to be real elaborate. Are you tired of eating hot dogs and s’mores every camping trip? I camped so often that this became a real issue. Instead, now I take GCI’s Slim-Fold Cook Station with me when I glamp and honestly the entire stay went smoother, because even when the cook station wasn’t in use for cooking means, it was in use for all sorts of other engagements, like game time!

The Cook Station folds flat and transports easily by its built-in carrying handle, weighing in at 18.9-lbs which adds little burden to most adventures. Each plastic table is rated at being capable of handling 30-lbs each, while the aluminum counter can handle up to 48-lbs and the lower rack handles up to 35-lbs. Open size is 20.9 x 52 x 32.3 in while it measures at 20.9 x 3.7 x 34.6 when folded up. All in all, I found GCI Outdoor’s Slim-Fold Cook Station to be the ideal table system for any camper, picnicker, explorer, outdoorsman, fisherman, and sports fan (as it’s perfect for tailgating).
