RavPower was nice enough to send me a preview copy before the giveaway, so I could weigh in my own thoughts on the product. First off, I used to own a battery similar to this, it was a Mophie Powerstation, I believe, and the problem with it was that it was heavy, bulky, but offered less than a 1/3 charge on my iPhone – which made it only useful in major emergencies, where my phone was dead and needed a quick jumpstart.
Second, what I actually think is that this is a pretty damn nice version, with a huge charge, a slick design, and priced insanely well – I actually told the folks over at Rav to think about charging more for it. It's smaller than the others that I've tried out, which is really nice, but then to think how much power it stores – I can officially say that this is my go to backup for when I'm traveling abroad – you have no idea how many times I could have used this when I was overseas this past year.
