The Travel Halo is a unique alternative to u-shaped travel pillows. Its patent pending design uses 2 small “stabilizer pillows” on each side of the head to hold the head stable and upright. As an added benefit, there is an eye mask that can be folded down to block out light. It weighs under 3 ounces, and can easily be stored in a pocket or purse. According to the inventor, Michael Vahey, “I’ve never used a conventional travel pillow that worked very well, and I kept hearing the same thing from others. At first, I was a bit skeptical about how well the Travel Halo pillow would work on a flight. But I gave it a go on my flight from Columbus, Ohio to Miami, Florida, and I think it’s a pretty solid option, and a good alternative to the typical bulky U-shaped pillows. I think that if it has a little more padding on it’s sides/corners, it would be even better, but it’s definitely nice product, especially for the individuals who have a hell of a time sleeping on a plane.
