2. The Black Sea Region (this one is known for tea-making, mountain hiking, relaxing by the sea, hazelnuts, and great cycling opportunities!)
3. The Eastern Anatolia Region (breath-taking landscapes, many ski-resorts, the highest mountain in Turkey, i.e., the Mount Ağrı. Moreover, Ağrı is a place believed to be the land from where Noah and his descendants expanded the humankind.)
4. The Southeastern Anatolia Region (if you crave more of Turkey’s traditional side, this region is the right choice for you. With numerous historical sites, some even older than Stonehedge. With Adıyaman, the place where the Mount Nemrut of Adıyaman is located, we can admire the statues of ancient gods.)
5. The Mediterranean Region (another region rich in history and culture. Perfect for those who crave an adventure-filled trip. Not only mountain region, but also hosting some beautiful beaches for a bit of relaxation.)
6. The Aegean Region (Try visiting not only the magnificent beaches. For all history lovers, Denizli is the perfect city in this region holding many ancient sites for tourists to see.)
7. The Central Anatolia Region (The must-see point in this region would, of course, be the Ankara city, the capital of Turkey. Many carpets that are sold across the country are produced in small villages of this region.)
There is so much to see and explore in the regions mentioned above that it is difficult to describe it.
Plan your journey carefully, not miss a thing, and come back if you will not see it all during one trip!
Now that we know what to keep an eye out for in Turkey let’s think about the necessary things we need to take care of beforehand.
Visa to Turkey
Since 2013, the visa handling process is much more straightforward. All you have to do is fill in an online application form for an e-Visa permit.
You can travel to Turkey for business, tourism, and transit purposes. Just make sure that you have a valid passport.
Depending on which country you are from, there are different e-Visa types.
There is a multiple-entry visa that allows a 90-day stay at a time, and this one is valid for 180 days. Some countries are allowed a 30-day visit at a time.
The second primary type is the single-entry visa that allows a 30-day stay. The requirements for both types of electronic visas vary accordingly to your nationality.
Best to check beforehand and see what requirements you need to meet, and what type of e-Visa are you eligible for.
How much is a visa for Turkey?
Knowing how easy is the process of obtaining an e-Visa, you may be wondering how much is a visa for Turkey.
Again, depending on the visa type you are eligible for, the price varies accordingly. Depending on your nationality, the cost can be 69 Euro, 99 Euro, or 129 Euro.
Remember that your passport has to be valid for at least six months ahead of the trip.
All you have to do is fill in an online application form, provide your data, passport details, or any additional information that is needed. Then, make an online payment, and check your e-mail address for the confirmation number.
Within 72 hours, your e-Visa will arrive at your e-mail address. However, the average processing time for a visa to Turkey is only 19 hours!

If you wish to try the fantastic Turkish coffee, the local produce, and the incredible gastronomy. If you want to visit all of the ancient sites, filled with adventures and history. Or maybe you want to learn more about the culture, see the colourful products offered, or relax on a beach resort.
