Can you feel it? The sun is bursting with yellow light, the birds are chirping and playing as they stream across the sky, the trees are budding, the grass is reaching and the summer warmth is moving in. Spring is here, and summer isn’t far behind! In my family, those are all signs that it’s time to wake up from the winter hibernation and time to celebrate outdoors

The world awakes from its slumber as the wildflowers bloom and the buds transform into vibrant green leaves. It’s a wondrous time that ignites a fire inside my soul and an itch inside my chest. I have to get out and to travel, and camp, and kayak, and simply explore. For half of the year it feels like I am chained indoors, but then it’s times like these that draw me back out and give me that infectious feeling.

In preparation for my spring and summer fun, I teamed up with Seattle Sports Co., who specialize in a range of outdoor goods, with each being an offering toward living it up under the sun. They were kind enough to send over their Kanga Woodstock Car Top Bag, as well as their Blue Wave Dry Bag. Upon initial inspection, it was obvious to me that their products are well made, and built to handle the extremes of adventures with friends and family.

The Kanga Woodstock Car Top Bag is a frame-less pack that straps onto the frame of your vehicle. The Woodstock bag is super groovy, as it’s made with a heavy-duty vinyl that’s printed with a classic tie-dye graphic, which makes it a perfect product for the summer music festival-goers. It’s radical in its look, yet simple in its design, however, no corners were cut in the making of this bag, because it’s truly built strong, heavy-duty, welded and designed to add flavor of design to your next trip.

If you’re like me, there are few experiences better than spending the hot sunny days on water, and for me, it’s all about kayaking the river wildernesses of rural Ohio. I also find nothing better than to camp far away from people and sometimes I like to venture on a kayak into a wilderness region and then find a campsite far from anybody else. There’s a peace and quiet that comes with time spent in Nature that you can’t get when you’re in a place that’s teeming with humans. Seattle Sports Co. has your back here as well, as they have the Blue Wave 20L Dry Bag, which is a fantastic and necessary piece of gear, because it can hold a ton, while providing ultra waterproof protection. So, throw your phone in, a change of clothes, food, tent, and some other survival gear, and you’re set for a true adventure!
