Often now-a-days, I find this sort of contemplation and peace through meditation and floating (sensory deprivation tanks), but running can give you that time and peace, and feeling, too. I recently had the chance to test out and trial the newest model of running shoe, the Gravity 6, by Newton Running. It’s been years since I actively ran, for the simple reason of enjoying it, but these shoes got me back out there and I have to say, it was a blessing.
The Gravity 6 running shoe is a dynamic and versatile shoe, because it fits tight, yet is so comfortable to wear and run in. The material is a lightweight mesh that adheres to your foot, while providing you with support as well as a breathability that I wish I had in my old school running shoes. The material is strong, yet lightweight enough that it almost feels like an extension of my own foot. The tongue is made up of an even wider mesh front, giving the user optimum airflow and comfort, which is fantastic for hot days and long runs.
Beyond the great fit, and other features like breathability and how lightweight these shoes are, the Gravity 6 is especially dynamic because of its tread. The tread pattern starts out thin at the toe and then has a ridge of five thick traction points that allows for optimum take off as well as the ability to maintain speed. So, as each foot touches the ground, the shoe grips for you, then as you roll your foot forward as you run, you gain control over the surface and burst forward in your stride. I found the Gravity 6 running shoe by Newton Running to be a high quality shoe, perfect for serious runners, noncommittal runners and light joggers, as well as athletes in training. They are perfect for me to get back into shape, and for that I am thankful.
