I remember the days when once your phone was dead, that was that, and there wasn’t anything you could do about it, unless you were in a place for a time with charging wire in hand. Not only were the phone batteries sparse and small in capacity, but they seemed to burn energy faster than I could replenish it, but perhaps that was simply me, being a fast-paced, mind-racing worker bee who asked a lot out of his devices.
As a tech traveler, I travel the globe and work on a laptop and live out of my backpack. So, it’s damn near impossible for me to stop and charge all my devices while being constantly on the go. Where I had to plan my day and work around my energy consumption, I now can roam freely, and charge once overnight while I sleep instead of stopping throughout the day so I could reup my laptop or phone, or camera batteries. Now, I can do everything from a single power bank.
