Review: The Lulworth Watch by Shore Projects

As a first time exclusive, today I will be reviewing a beautiful watch from the fine folks over at Shore Projects in the UK. While I’ve never reviewed a watch on the blog, I have indeed been a watch owner for much of my life, and I know what I like and what to look for. Let’s take some time to talk about the Lulworth style watch…
Picture
Shore Projects is a youthful, classy brand, with cool packaging. Their watches come in colorful boxes of the ocean shore, and with a personal handwritten greeting card thanking you for your purchase. Inside the box, a foam platform presents the face of the watch separated from the strap, and includes a small tool for changing mesh straps. Batteries are included and last up to twelve months. It’s neat how the watch face separates, because I feel like it allows the user the ability to coordinate the color of watch and strap. Props for accessorizing.

The watch face is crisp and clean looking, with a minimalist design. Upon handling the watch portion, it immediately impressed upon me how high quality the make is. Shore Projects spared no expense and from what I can tell, they succeeded in building a superior watch that is also affordable. The watch is waterproof and made of stainless steel, with gold and rose plating that looks dynamite. The face design is cool and modern and completes the simplistic, yet classy product.

The strap is made of fine Italian leather, and like most Italian leathers, it indeed carries that rich aroma. The strap feels high end and looks sharp and simplistic. Attaching with little sliding prongs, the strap is interchangeable, so if brown or black simply won’t match with your outfit, you have options to switch them out. Each watch only comes with a single strap, but you can order more on Shore Project’s website. Lastly, the little box inside the watch’s packaging provides a soft canvas bag to keep the Lulworth safe and sound when not in use.

All in all, Shore Projects makes a fine watch. And I have no criticism for the quality of their product.
