My conclusion is that without the advent of the internet, the public would still have the understanding that hemp is an evil, harmful drug. But thankfully, with the new digital connection came also a light of truth shining through the propaganda. Now, after dozens of medical marijuana legalizations, we’ve arrived at an exciting time where many people in legalized states can choose what sort of medicine they implement for their ailments.
With the general acceptance of hemp comes a myriad of exciting inventions and new ways of doing things. Beyond the industrial applications of hemp like rope, fabric, fuel and more, the medicinal side of cannabis is also feeling the upsurge of innovation. One of the coolest companies leading the way is FlytLab, who specialize in personal devices for medicinal use of cannabis. Where it was once mostly flowers being smoked, clean concentrates consisting of the active ingredient in cannabis, THC, are available. And on top of that, CBD, the non-psychoactive compound found in hemp, which has shown to have some powerful medicinal effects, can also be used in a vaporizer.
The ST!K vaporizer comes loaded with interchange heating chambers, ceramic and quartz, with each offering specific capacity and efficiency for the connoisseur. The ST!K has four temperature settings and is streamlined in its ergonomic design to allow for quick one-button operation and even quicker vapor. During my time in Colorado, I’ve used a few models that would take over a minute to heat up and if you inhaled with too much vigor, the heat in the oven would disappear and it would stop vaporizing the flower or oil, but the ST!K doesn’t have that problem. Overall, it’s a very solid, sleek and discreet vaporizer that is tiny but powerful.
