There are over 7,000 islands in the Caribbean, but few have such a massive blend in character as that of this tiny gem in the south Caribbean Sea. The crystal blue waters of the sea feature one of the greatest destinations in the world, which is the island of Aruba. It’s a cultural melting pot with Spanish American and Caribbean influences, as well as the Dutch are aplenty. While Aruba has loads to offer both the backpacking aficionado and the leisurely vacationer, it really has it all for anyone who’s looking to visit. It has the beautiful blue waters and the ivory-white sand beaches, but it offers much more than that. It’s probably more appropriate for you to ask yourself what all you wish to see and partake in, rather than asking what’s available.
Aruba boasts a brilliant array of activities for the chill at heart and the budding adventurer. On Aruba, you can find quiet horseback riding trails, and of course leisurely beach walks, but that's not all, you can find some of the most beautiful and potentially challenging golf courses in the world. But that's not all, don't think that I forgot about the adventurer types out there – Aruba offers kite and windsurfing, as well as jet-skit, and tube and wave-runner sporting opportunities. Besides sport attractions, Aruba hosts loads of events, from festivals and concerts, to tournaments and other sporting events. I’ve been to Puerto Rico and other various smaller islands in the Caribbean, and I gotta say that I can’t wait to check out Aruba, and I’m sure you have similar feelings as well – for the most up-to-date travel and events information, check out the official Aruba website: Aruba travel.
