First off - apologies! Apologies for the lack of updates as of late. I've been traveling and transitioning.
Here's what you've missed:
-I did it! I left all that I've ever known and am staying temporarily in St. Paul, MN.
-Before arriving to St. Paul I semi-aimlessly wandered around Canada - with stops in Niagara, Toronto, 1000 Islands, Adirondacks NY, Montreal, Ottawa and Grand Marais MI. The entire trip was fantastic, quite relaxing and precisely what I needed. The final driving count ended up at over 2,400 miles!
-In the beginning of August, I had decided that I wished to visit the Caribbean since I've never been - and I felt as though I deserved a vacation. I purchased tickets from Minneapolis/St. Paul International to Luis Muñoz Marín International in San Juan, Puerto Rico for September 20-25th.

Now, fast toward to today - I've now been settling down in St. Paul and I realized that although I like the city and it's a great place, it's exactly like Columbus. It's artsy with a lot to do and a prominent music scene - however the Twin Cities are decently larger. I need a change, I need to experience a different way of life - lived at a slower pace. I've researched international destinations and considered applying for visas - I've also thought of becoming a true vagabond by hiking around Europe for as long as I can.
In the end I’ve decided to test the water and tour the Caribbean maybe? This is a last second decision, which is only giving me about four days to get my life in order so I will be able to make this happen for a while. BUT since I’m amazing - I already have everything all set, haha.
I am off to Puerto Rico in two days, then I will have five days to tour around. On the 25th, I plan to arrive on the island of St. Thomas - wish me luck!
