If you’re in the process of planning a holiday, the concept of engaging a travel agent to help you book your trip may, on the surface, seem somewhat passé. While traditional travel agents are a dying breed, the epoch of the travel advisor, however, may only just be beginning.
Cutting through the noise
The internet has succeeded largely in creating a lot of noise when it comes to travel. There are thousands of travel sites, price comparison sites and third-party companies, all vying for the attention of enthusiastic holidaymakers. And with all that information at our fingertips, the temptation is to immerse ourselves deeply in research, to point where confusion and uncertainty become the twin orders of the day.

In opting to engage a travel advisor through a reputable provider, such as The Co-operative Travel, it’s possible cut through the internet noise and save yourself a great deal of confusion, time and hassle, allowing you to focus on more important things.

Getting informed

After sifting through page after page of reviews about holiday packages or hotels, they all begin to blur into one and it’s difficult to know who to trust. A travel advisor, however, is able to offer you impartial advice on the best deals that are available on the market. After all, they spend all day listening to feedback from customers and talking to hotel owners or tour operators.

The straight-talking information that a travel advisor offers can be invaluable in helping you to make the right choice for your next holiday. And what’s more, they will be able offer the most up-to-date advice, based on years of industry experience.

The savvy move

Hiring a travel advisor is a savvy move in more ways than one. Firstly, a travel advisor is able to fully customise your trip to your needs, without you having to lift a finger. Simply give your travel advisor a call, tell them your exact requirements and they will do their best to meet and exceed all of your expectations.

Secondly, when it comes to cost, there is a common misconception that hiring a travel advisor is an unnecessary expense. Nothing, however, could be further from the truth.

Travel advisors spend decades building relationships with the most senior decision-makers in hotels, airlines and tour operators, which allows them to negotiate fantastic deals on the most sought-after experiences that are simply not typically available. These travel experts are, furthermore, also able to offer hotels and trips that you’d never find yourself, including small, quirky boutique hotels that could help to make your stay truly memorable.

Security and peace of mind

When it comes to travel, we all would like things to go off without a hitch. If you book the individual facets of your holiday yourself, however, there’s more chance of finding yourself stranded on the other side of the world in all manner of potentially sticky situations.

So, if you’re in the process of planning a holiday and are feeling a little overwhelmed by the work involved, get in touch with the Co-operative travel’s travel advisors to remove the stress and put the enjoyment back into your holiday.
