Great options for couples in Southeast Asia
Here are some wonderful things to do together in Southeast Asia. You are sure to emerge feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Go back feeling optimistic and cheerful about life at the same time.
  • Get a great massage and bath
Get a great massage and floral bath in Bali. This is the time to build romance in your life as you take a relaxing massage together surrounded by rice terraces or lush jungles. Relax side by side and listen to the soothing traditional Balinese music and feel your muscles relax and body rejuvenate.
  • Time to pamper yourself
Splurge on a great hotel even though it might cut into our budget a bit. However, it is guaranteed that the whole experience is worth it. Stay at Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Damai Laut at an extremely discounted rate.  You are sure to love their clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Enjoy the fabulous scenery around because of the location and great services by the friendly staff. This is your opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and relax completely. Take advantage of their water park with multiple pools.
  • Take the therapeutic mud baths
Pollution and stress violate both your mind and body. It is time to head for the therapeutic mud baths just outside of Nha Trang. Just relax and take rest as you cover yourself in this cool goo. Feel the stress and worries melt away under the sun. Pop into a hot tub after rinsing off under the shower. You can feel your mind relax and your spirits lift with the serenity and peace. Stay all day chatting with your partner and feel a new connection with each other.
  • Enjoy a special dinner
Being in Southeast Asia means being in a land that has water everywhere. Why not plan a dinner cruise and spend a romantic night out feasting on the water. You are sure to find dinner cruises at all major destinations. Enjoy a great meal together as well as that fresh air and gorgeous scenery.
  • Meditate together
Thailand's Northern city of Chang Mai offers special meditation courses. This is your time to discover the newer you within each other. With a calmer and peaceful mind and soul, you are sure to reconnect in a better way with each other. Meditate together and take advantage of the meditative silence. We just spent 3 months on a sabbatical in Southeast Asia.

Some of our best times were getting off of the beaten track and out into the countryside. Asia can feel crowded in the big cities, but only a few miles away you can almost completely escape!

We hired a car in Northern Thailand and Laos, which gave us some off-the-beaten tracks experiences that I would recommend to any couples travelling together in Asia.
