I haven't known enough writers to have a firm grasp of what comprises majority of writer's offices, however, I'm sure there are several aspects that are comparable between most writers, there are definitely particulars that pertain to individual people. Depending if you're a writer who works digitally, or old school, an authors desk can differ drastically.
As you can likely imagine, traditionally, a writers quarters usually are filled with a collection of books, various papers and scribblings, among a variety of other items like motivating quotes and other inspiring objects. If you're a modern writer who works with a computer, then computers, monitors, hard drives, and other digital devices will likely be present, of course.

For a creative professional to balance two industries, like myself, in photography and writing, then one's working atmosphere can dramatically range. A photographer's workspaces can run a fill spectrum, depending on what style of photography you work with – obviously, a portrait photographer's work area might include large backdrops, while a product photographer will typically work within a light cube setup.

My office may sound pretty usual and/or boring, but it gets the job done. Even though I love my current setup, I have some pretty grand plans for my ultimate office – but who doesn't?!
My newest, and one of my favorite additions to my office setup is the BenQ PG2401PT monitor. It is perfect for photographers, designers, and other media/content creators, as it makes proofing and color management smooth and on-point. The PG2401PT is a certified print-quality display, with a coverage of 100% CMYK and 99% Adobe RGB color space. On top of that, its dynamic design is sleek and brilliantly ergonomic, turning 90-degrees for a perfect transition between portrait and landscape viewing, with a forward and backward tilt of -5 to 20-degrees, and a 45-degree swivel.
