Whether you are a local of the city, or a keen visitor for a few days, there is a brilliant way of seeing the sights - by foot. Some of the sights you see on a walking tour may be a little less traditional, but it gives you a chance to see another side to Dublin. There are a range of Dublin walking tours available at a number of different price points; the only decision you will have to make is which one best suits your interests.
So read this blog post to find out about what you could see on a walking tour in Dublin; that way you will know about the perfect one for you...

Northside Ghost Walk - Dublin Town
Highlights:
●     Site of Saint Mary’s Abbey
●     Haunted Hendrick Street
●     Croppie’s Acre
●     The Brazen Head pub
●     Saint Michan’s Church
For €13 you will be able to join the group doing the Northside Ghost Walk. It departs every Friday and Sunday evening at 8pmfrom outside The Church Bar on Mary Street. It should be noted that the tour is best suited to those who don’t have a sensitive disposition, as there are some creepy sights and stories that you will hear along the way. This walk in particular will take you through the area once known as Oxmantown - a former Viking enclave. You will visit some of the places that are associated with a very haunted past, so put your brave face on and get stuck in.

The Hellfire Club - Dublin Tour
Highlights:
●     The best view in Dublin
●     Haunted mountains
●     Hunting lodge
●     Dark history
For €25 you could go on another spooky tour, but this time in the Dublin Mountains. Every Thursday and Friday evening at 7pm, a group of 13 people meet outside The Brazen Head pub and board a bus (the Hellfire Express) that takes them to Dublin Mountains range. On board you will hear stories surrounding famous landmarks including St Patrick’s Cathedral, Rathfarnham Castle and Kilakee House. You will then arrive at the Hellfire Club, known for its association with Satanism. Once onto the range you will be presented with the best view in Dublin, which is said to be a must see for all budding photographers. After more grisly tales, you will be taken back to Dublin city centre where you can try and come to terms with the experience...

Dawn2Dusk - Guided Photography Tours
Highlights:
●     River Liffey
●     Coastline
●     Notable buildings and bridges
Finally, if you just can’t get on board with the ghost tours through fear of the supernatural, maybe you can demonstrate your own forces with photography instead. €25 will get you a spot on a guided photography tour where you will visit parts of Dublin that are off the beaten track. You will be shown places that you wouldn’t generally find yourself; resulting in stunning photographs that you can show off to your friends and family.

Have a look online to identify the other tours that might be of interest to you - but whichever one you choose, you are sure to have a completely unique trip when you visit Dublin.
